Quality You Can Verify, Not Just Believe
Quality & Certifications
Our fabric inspection runs at three stages on every lot — incoming, in-process and outgoing — backed by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GRS and D-U-N-S certifications buyers can request and verify.
Quality System
How Does Our Fabric Inspection Work?
Quality is not one checkpoint — it is three. Every lot passes fabric inspection three times against its spec sheet before it leaves the plant.

Four Certificates, Four Buyer Questions Answered
Certification documents are provided upon request — ask our export team with your inquiry.
Buyer Notes
Reading Our Certificates Like a Buyer
Certificates only matter if you know what each one rules out. ISO 9001 rules out ad-hoc production; IATF 16949 rules out suppliers that cannot survive an automotive audit; GRS rules out unverifiable recycled claims; D-U-N-S rules out companies that cannot be traced. When you request documents alongside a fabric inspection report, check the certificate scope and validity dates against the certification body's register — we encourage it, because verified trust travels further than claimed trust. Bring your own checklist to the document review: scope, site address, expiry, and the certification body's name should all reconcile before the first order — that is textile quality control practiced from the buyer's side.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Jhih Cheng IATF 16949 certified?
Yes. Jhih Cheng is certified to IATF 16949:2016 alongside ISO 9001 — the combination automotive tape and component programs look for.
What does your quality inspection cover?
Fabric inspection runs at three stages: incoming materials, in-process monitoring on the line, and outgoing checks of finished rolls against the agreed spec sheet.
Can I get copies of your certificates?
Yes. Certification documents are provided upon request together with your inquiry or order.
Who governs IATF 16949?
The International Automotive Task Force — scheme rules and certified-site oversight are published by the IATF Global Oversight body.
Why does certified fabric inspection matter for tape programs?
Because harness tape ends up inside vehicles: automotive customers require the material chain — including base-fabric inspection records — to trace back to certified quality systems. See it in practice on our wire harness tape fabric page.
What does ISO 9001 add on top?
ISO 9001 certifies the overall quality management system that runs every product line, automotive or not.
What does GRS certification cover?
The Global Recycled Standard certifies recycled content and its chain of custody, so recycled-material claims on our fabric are auditable.
What is D-U-N-S and why show it?
A global business registration that lets buyers verify us as a legal entity before the first transaction.
How do you handle a lot that fails inspection?
It does not ship as ordered. Rolls outside a customer's specification are held and redirected honestly — see our material re-use program.
Can your quality system be audited by customers?
Yes. Buyers are welcome to review our processes on-site or by document audit — textile quality control worth the name expects the question.
